So the R2D2 hat I made as part of my nephew's Halloween costume a couple years ago has garnered a lot of attention recently. My blog post containing the pattern was linked on the Craft blog and Whipup. From there it got picked up by Gizmodo, Geekologie, the StarWars.com blog, TheForce.net, and who knows who else. Yes, apparently it's been linked on a lot of sites; I just can't remember them all. I'm flattered, but I'd also like to not knit the same hat over and over again for the rest of my life.

Well congrats in making an awesome hat, when I saw it I knew my boyfriend would want one. But I doubt I would make it for him.

I am glad that people are loving it and that you are getting tons of attention, and good luck with that~ Ah the price of being a knitting celebrity~ ;P hehe

Good job though, it is really cute~.

HOly Moley! I was going to make an R2-D2 hat. And now that I see someone else has i'm so excited! :)

I'm charging $30, plus shipping, and it takes me probably 2-3 hours if I'm not simultaneously screwing around on the computer, which is rare. I think if I begin taking more orders later on, I will also increase the price.
