sweptawaybayou has written a pre-series character study of Seeley Booth that is exceptional. It takes place during Desert Storm and is a compelling look at one possible aspect of his profession as a sniper.

Thank you for the rec, babe.

I tried to post a link to the fic here, but kept getting rejected.

It didn't 'kept getting rejected', we had issues with your formating and were discussing it. We only rejected it after you had submitted it several times and after it was rec'ed here.

In the future we'd appreciate it if you'd contact us rather than keep re-submitting the same entry over again.

Thank you.

I submitted it exactly twice. Not several times. I received no notification after the first submission yesterday morning, so i thought i would try again this evening. Then I received *two* rejections without reason.

If there was a problem with the formatting, an email would've changed that. Or could've changed that. But I understand that perhaps the fic did not fit with your communities agenda.

Thank you, at any rate, for allowing the unexpected and generous rec from lostakasha to stand.

>>I received no notification after the first submission yesterday morning
That's because we were discussion it, which means we neither accepted nor rejected it!

>>If there was a problem with the formatting, an email would've changed that.

You can't edit posts that are in mod queue. So I don't see what good that would have done?
And if you weren't sure what happened to your entry you could have emailed or commented to us since we have a post set up just for that kind of thing!

>>Then I received *two* rejections without reason.

As said before, we were still discussing whether to approve it or not. Then it was rec'ed by somebody who I think has auto-approval and it was no longer necessary to approve your entry.
