Dear members of 206_bones!

I don't now how many of you are aware of this but I was the person who created this place back in 2005. I got it on its feet and tried to provide information and media and all sorts of things so it could grow

If you really feel like it wouldn't be worth it to continue this community, I can respect your decision. But is there any way that you can just block all posts, but leave the media archives? I use them a lot and I would be very sad to lose them.

I'm sorry that the stupidity has grown to such a level that you feel like you need to do this, but I just wanted to thank you for taking such good care of the community for as long as you have.

Yeah, I realized that this was an April Fool's Day joke about half an hour after I read this, and boy do I feel dumb. But hey, at least you got a lot of people telling you how much they appreciate your work, right?

I think in the end there were about 140 screened comments and 20 unscreened ones. So the ration between 'haha joke' and 'great job' was a bit.. lopsided ;-p

I know a few people will also offer what I'm about to but it's worth a shot.

If you're fed up of this community, why not hand it over to someone? I'd take it off your hands - I need a project anyway. I personally adore this community and it's really helpful to me.

I hope you consider what I've stated because I'm being honest - this is one of the best Bones communities around.

PS: I'll be mad if LJ turns into a MySpazz clone - I hate MySpazz.
