Fox needs to let people watch The Finder on their own and not force it down people's throats. I mean I enjoyed it; It might be my new fandom...but I don't think forcing people to watch it is the right approach. It's just going to cause people retaliate from it.
But I also would never buy shows off of iTunes. They charge way too much imo. I think it's odd they charge more then stores and they're downloading. When you buy CD's or DVD/Blu Ray you are basically paying for the packaging/box not the actual discs...
I still haven't seen the Finder and don't intend on watching it, only Bones.
I only purchase the free episodes and lurk around the free episode part. But in the case of British television, iTunes is cheaper, but I rather own the DVDs for special features.
US Network shows still tend to be cheaper on DVD. Amazon sells at the cheapest you can sell them and Doctor Who still costs about $40-$50 each boxset. While Bones is going for $25-$30. Standard price for Doctor Who is about $80 and Bones is about $60. True Blood goes for about $60.
I was dead set on not watching it, but my DVR recorded the first few minutes of it. Well, it interested me enough that I went and downloaded the episode. I'm glad that I did. It was actually pretty good. Not as great as Bones, but decent enough to want to watch again.
