The whole moving thing? What about Parker? They kind of act like it's just the three of them (Booth, Brennan, new kid).

Why do they even have to move at all?

I don't understand that, either, but I like to think she was trying to make a point about how hard it is to find a place. Whether that's true or not, we'll see.

But I have a sneaking suspicion that Costa Rica is brought up to serve the plot of the episode in which Booth contemplates fatherhood (and a big part of that is not being a (largely) absent father to Parker -- which is what Costa Rica would result in).

I hope that's what this ends up leading too. Because I know we don't see all of their lives; but Booth seems like the kind of person/father who hates not seeing his kid all the time; so I don't see him moving away; just so that he'd NEVER see him.
