Yayyyy!

Call me naive, but I have faith that all will be revealed in the finale and this will NOT be another x-files "did they or didn't they?" situation.

I'll cling to this thought, haha.
Then again, of course this is JUST what I did with the X-Files. And then it didn't turn out to be so. But still. I can't help but doubt it. XD

So, from that I take it that either they will confirm that B/B had sex in last night's episode (I didn't get a 'sex' vibe from any of the scenes last night, but if they confirm it did happen, I'll at least be happy they confirmed it and aren't letting it just be open ended forever like it was on X-Files). Or. Whether they had sex last night will still be up in the air (or they'll confirm they did NOT), but they WILL have sex at the end of the finale (we'll see them fall into bed actually going at each other instead of Booth holding Brennan while she cried like last night). I'd actually prefer the latter, buuut that's just a personal preference of wanting their first time (FINALLY) to be a more happy occasion than sadness/grief.

So, who else thinks that the big bombshell is going to be that Brennan is pregnant from the one and only time that she and Booth have been together?

Of course, there has to be more than a week between this week's episode and the finale(in "Bones" time) or there's no way she could possible know already.

Anyway, just speculating (especially considering Emily's current condition) ... any other theories out there?

Would it really be that bad? We know she's been wanting a baby, and we know that she and Booth both love one another.

I mean, personally, I'd rather them wait and just enjoy their new relationship for a long time without bringing a baby into it, but I could see Emily's RL pregnancy changing everything.

i think it would be that bad. First of all, we already had pregnant Angela all season, I don't want Brennan to steal her thunder.

And I'm with you on the new relationship thing. I want them to enjoy each other first. And I would love to see them try and hide their emotions and how they deal with it at work Plus I think its kinda unrealistic that she would know a week after that she was pregnant... just sayin...

Yeah, there's no question really, the end of the ep sealed it. The way she snuggled in, and he just looked so ... at peace with that.

agreed, I'll like 99.9% sure they did it.

First of all, if someone asks you a question like that, you either say 'no', 'none of your business' or you process to explain what went down. You don't give a smile like that if nothing happened...

Well, and the way Angela was watching them the rest of the ep. Angela wouldn't have had that look on her face if they'd just snuggled a bit. ANGELA looked incredibly joyful almost to the point of tears over them!

No, there's no question. There's no way they are both strong enough to abstain in that situation.

agreed, you would need superhuman strength to abstain in that situation...

I'm convinced Bones is going to tell Booth she is pregnant at the end of the finale, and next season is going to be spent dealing with the aftermath of the revelation.

The programme is not set in real time so any length of time could have passed between the two episodes. Angela was a month away from giving birth last week and next week she has the baby so realistically, any time period up to month could have passed!!!

I love Booth/Brennan, but I think adding a baby into the mix will be really interesting. I don't want happy ever after just yet, it's a big risk to take for a successfull TV show and personaly, I'd miss the angst too much!!!

But in reality, you go from being a month away from your due date to being considered "full term" in only a week - your due date is at 40 weeks but you are full term at 37, and giving birth anytime from 38 weeks on is quite common.

That is of course true, but should the writers have needed several weeks to have passed between the events in the two episodes, then it is possible that it has.
