Haha, should this question even be considered a spoiler anymore? The answer is always basically, "We have no idea".

However, I am still firmly planted in camp NO.

I have a feeling they'll just keep recycling this question in various forms for quite a while, especially over the summer, even with the answer of "we do not know." Just so they can SAY they're giving us "spoilers" when they are, in fact, giving us nothing.

And I will join you in camp NO.

I agree. But I don't understand why they are considering it a spoiler since they have no idea. It's like the 'When is Hannah' and 'When are they hooking up questions'. They never had the answers just spout out useless information that didn't involve what the fans asked.

Considering how pregnant ED already looks in the latest promo pics, I doubt it'll still be an issue in the fall...

*g* when they released those photos, I thought "now the hunt for the baby bump begins"

Haha! Me too.

And then I was thinking that people are going to say that she has one - even if she wasn't even showing yet when the pictures were taken - because they know that she's pregnant now and any extra bit of puffiness is going to be considered a baby bump.:p

Eh, I think she's far enough along that it's not unreasonable - you can get a "bump" from bloating several weeks before your uterus actually gets big enough to stick out! But don't you dare tell a pregnant woman that that bump "doesn't count." :)

I agree with the other comment, this is going to be the latest talk of everyone and, it's like the Hannah and Booth/Bones relationship. You are going to have a lot of fans asking about it and every person like Michael treating it like it's a spoiler. I wish they'd answer things they have information on.

But he answers the same questions with the same recycled drivel, instead of saying "I don't know" he has to just go on and on.

But yes, I had a feeling the script for the finale was already written.

I don't think it's a good idea to make her pregnant. They are not ready to have a child together let alone be in a relationship. It'd come off too forced.

Pregnancy is hidden more often then people think. Emily's pregnancy would be no different.

Agreed. They shot Ellen Pompeo for Grey's Anatomy without the merest hint that she was pregnant throughout her entire pregnancy, up to I think like, eight months? They just always shot her above the neck or from behind or hid her behind things or what have you. I'm generally more pro-writers than a lot of the people who post here, but even I concede that writing in a Brennan pregnancy, ostensibly with Booth as the father, would be ludicrous, even in the early fall.

I agree that it would be a bit insane to write it in at this point. If she were JUST pregnant...or like...got pregnant this summer, it would make more sense. But, but how much she is showing (and keep in mind, those promo pics are from early March) I'd think she's due late August/Early Sept. So, when the show comes back, she'll be Super big.

They would have to have had Brennan already slept with someone...and then skip ahead the timeline to accommodate for her already being so pregnant. I'm not saying it can't be done. Of course it can be. But, it just seems like that would really complicate things where they could just as easily film around it. They did it on Grey's and The X-Files.

Please GOD don't let them pull an x-files where they sleep together off screen and we never get to see it and randomly scully is pregnant with his baby. I wont even put that out into the universe. ;) haha

TV producers have many, many years of shooting around pregnancies, which is always why I kind of laugh when people ask "OMG will it be written in?" Generally, real life pregnancy and onscreen pregnancy aren't even going to match up anyhow due to shooting schedules, so they'd rather an actress NOT be actually pregnant when shooting an onscreen pregnancy.

Watch The Host episode of ST:TNG while keeping in mind that Gates McFadden was 7-8 months pregnant while shooting it, and you'll still be hard-pressed to find any evidence of her pregnancy.
