I'm like so unreasonably excited for this episode.
Also lol at the look Caroline gives Booth at the end. She's like, "Oh no cher, don't you be trying to steal scenes from moi!" XD
ETA: Now that I've seen the other two clips.
Poor Angela. I'm dying to know what hideous name Angela's father has in store for the baby. I'm guessing it'll be one of those things where we never get to know though.
Also touchy Booth is touchy. LOL "Why are you doing this?"
Ah, I managed to resist for about one minute. CAROLIIIINE! :DDD I love that Booth gets to be the knowledgeable one for once and lecture others about sniper facts, haha. (Is anyone else thinking that Sweetness was Angela's name, or at least part of it?) Also Brennan challenging Booth's black-and-white worldview in THAT case? Oh dear. XD
Loving the car conversation. I like when Brennan gets all objective about Booth's past, and he gets upset. It's good to be reminded of their differences, sometimes.
I bet we won't find out what her dad wanted to name the baby, either. Maybe it'll just end up as the baby's middle name.
And Booth...I don't want to see him upset, but I have to go with Brennan on this one. Good and evil really are subjective. That's why the "bad" guys always think they're in the right. What is good and what is evil is decided by the winners of the conflict, that's all. Morality doesn't really count, as morals can be pushed aside for other "stronger" morals. Look at the crusades.
You know, Season 2 Booth was all about the shades of grey. He was the one who explained to Brennan that her father was not so much a "criminal" as an "outlaw". I'm having a bit of difficulty reconciling that Booth with this one of the Star Wars mentality.
Maybe he's being more rigid in this case because the only thing differentiating his kills from Broadsky's is the fact that Booth's kills were legally sanctioned. I imagine that is a very difficult thing for a man with an innate veneration for human life to handle. In Booth's mind, if Broadsky is also justified taking lives without that legal sanction, BOTH of them are no better than common murderers.
I'm having a hard time seeing Broadsky as a true villain. But then I'm a fan of killer vigilantes. Maybe he's an anti-villain?
I was thinking this too, but I wondered if it was another case of Brennan reminding Booth of his own past wisdom as she did with Jared and the reformed escort.
I think there's been a recurring theme of Brennan teaching Booth all the life lessons he taught her.
And I'm being much nicer to Sweets in my fanfic these days, if I can lure you back as a reader! I'm writing a very Sweets-positive chapter right now, in fact.

Oh, sweetie, I'm still reading! Or at least receiving story alerts for the recent few chapters...I'm putting fanfic on hold for a while for a personal writing project, but I fully intend to go back and re-read and review all four stories once they're finished. :)
I DID notice the chapter that appeared after my little sadface review was more Sweets-positive. I wondered whether that was because of what I said, then decided I was being rather presumptuous. Your PM DID say it was all part of the master plan. :D I'm quite flattered you remembered me from FF though. XD
