Is this referring to someone from BB's past? Or the sniper's? The wording is confusing, but off the top of my head, I can't think of someone from an old case...
There were a couple of people who they knew they did it, but they couldn't actually charge them with murder/bring them to trial right? The one I can think of is that girl who tampered with the motorcycle to kill her ex, and then ended up killing her brother too. I remember Booth saying that he was going to charge her but he knew there wasn't enough proof for a jury to convict or something.
That would be an amazing piece of continuity, that I have no doubt most tv peeps couldn't pull off, because they are generally awful at continuity. Too bad.

He's taking his training into his own hands; it seems to kill those he feels is a threat/wrong. Interesting.
I hope the arc is taken seriously; I don't want silly or light hearted episodes I want dramatic and episodes with agony.
