Just a question... HOw do you do a screen shot of your desktop or Layout on a mac?

:D Command + Shift + 3 for the whole screen
or command + shift + 4 - this will give you a cross hair instead of an arrow, and you just click and drag to cap a certain area.. does that make sense? :)

Maybe you can help me. I notice a lot of people are able to make screenshots that are previews and click to full size.

Is this something easily done/taught?

i don't know if there's an easier way to do it, but i just make two images in photoshop, the screenshot & then a separate thumbnail version. then when you make the link tag to the screenshot, put an image tag of the thumbnail image inside of the link tag, instead of words you'd normally put. that might be hard to understand, i'm not sure of a better way to explain it haha.

basically, instead of making a link like this:
<*a*href="*linktoyourscreenshot*">january '09 layout<*/a*>

(minus the stars, obviously) your link would look like this:

<*a*href="*linktoyourscreenshot*"><*img*src*="*yourthumbnailimageurl*"><*/a*>

make sense at all?

I have a question....as I'm pretty late for the party...MONTHS late...is it still possible to participate, only with the remaining months in this year?

And, are you thinking about doing this for 2010? Because I would so totally join! :D
