Knork - noun.

Surely you know what a spork is--a utensil which combines fork tines and a spoon to create a super utensil with a portmanteau for a name. A portmanteau is a blend of multiple word parts to create a new word.

Drop the first 'k' and in British slang it means you're laying something entirely different on the table.

Oh dear! Locality is everything sometimes.

There was a recycling campaign here for many years with the slogan of "Don't be a tosser". It always made my British co-workers laugh :-D
