It is very difficult for me to motivate myself out there and impossible to stay any length of time unless I have a very good distraction. Women's magazines just don't do the trick.

Gameboy. Zelda and the Minish Cap.
Read, "Stop the Insanity," by Susan Powder or "Your Body Revival: Weight Loss Straight Talk," by Dave Draper. Or, your latest Muscle and Fitness magazine (free subscription: http://www.mysavings.com/free-samples/Muscle-Fitness-Magazine/9320/) or Self. Shape sucks. Oxygen is absolutely one of my faves. Or, when you buy a recumbent indoor bike (lol) get one like mine with the video games in the screen.

I'm in between sets right now! I just went up 10 pounds in the pull throughs. I don't know if they have a better name...
Anyway, yeah, I used to have an elliptical. It used to bug my hips. I've gone recumbent. Both my inside and my outside bike. I'll never go back, my ass never hurts anymore!

Hey, I've also got a Wii fit and it motivates you to do a proper workout. You might consider it. It's not the end of all and be all of all workouts (unless you're 500lbs and housebound) but it gets you moving and that makes you add some real exercises to the mix.

I've heard tons of good stuff about the Wii fit...I don't have a Wii though. Which is odd, since the hubby is all into the latest toys.
