I was at cheerleading camp with my high school girlfriends. It was my birthday-I was turning 31. I needed to make up a 30 second dance routine for competition, but I was putting it off because Grey’s Anatomy was on. The Chief fired Meredith because she was incompetent and whiney. very strange dream! On Saturday night we were all wondering how the slip-n-slide party went for Claire. The theme sounded pretty darn awesome.

It was fun. The kids had a great time. It eventually got very muddy and I think there are kids still digging grass out of their cracks! Claire ran through the sprinkler and played in the baby pool. I had some water skirting monkey heads that were a big hit.

I asked Claire what she liked best about her party. Her reponse? "Chips." Hell, if I had known that I would have just given her a bag of Doritos for her birthday and called it a day!
