I want to see Charles without powers, and Erik coming to terms with loving him despite of it. Whether Charles lost his powers due to something like the cure from X3 or never had them in the first place is fine.

Author's notes: I have no working title yet, and the buildup for this will probably be a bit long, but I hope you enjoy this, OP.Erik shifted the bag around in his hands as he climbed the steps leading up to their room. Curse mutants hiding out in the middle of nowhere. Curse cheap hotels with creaky, unstable floorboards that could collapse underneath him at any time. Curse this miserable heat. Interesting so far! I like the build up that you have with Erik valuing Charles for his powers, especially; I can imagine that the "You're no good to me if you can't function" line might come back to haunt him.

What if Charles and Raven never actually met in person until they were young adults, think 20's, but they were in contact via, say a pen pal project in school, with each other since they were what? 12 and 10, respectively?

How would this change the dynamic of their relationship? Would they know about each other's mutations? etc.

Charles was riding his bike back home when he gets hit by a car.

28 days later he wakes up alone in a hospital... and well, you know the rest. I just want him meeting Erik and going off to find Raven and/or others. If you manage to work the rest of the cast in there (Shaw as the jaded/crazed general) that would be amazing.

In which Charles’s childhood is traumatic in a completely different way

I know the Marcos aren’t supposed to be nice people, but technically all we know from the XMFC!verse is that Charles’s step-father built a bunker under the house because he was worried about nuclear war. So, what I want is teen!Charles being completely embarrassed because his step-father is one of those survival nuts that stockpiles stuff so they can survive a nuclear winter. Or one of the kids/Eric finding an old stockpile while they’re training and wanting to know what it is about.

Was thinking about doing this one myself; but my current ‘to do’ list is just insane, so I’m passing it off to any takers.Shaw gets what he’s gunning for, WWIII. But the radiation from the bombs is having the added effect of lowering the birthrate to extinction levels. Humans are dying out, and Mutants are fairing little better. There are a few mutants, and fewer humans that are still fertile enough to have children, and they are kept in compounds for their own protection and so they can be sold into sexual slavery to the highest bidder ( ... )

OH yay, oh yay, oh yay! It's so awesome that you're even thinking of taking this on.

Wiki gives you the bare bones facts, which is perfect because I just wanted that general dystopian feel, and the sexual slavery aspect, so that should be perfect.

Also B.C. is British Columbia, Canada >.> ...sorry. I shouldn't have presumed.
