Erick/Charles (Shaw/Charles too?) - Charles belonging to Shaw anonymous June 5 2011, 07:49:15 UTC

AU. Someway, somehow Shaw found Charles when he was much younger and he's had him by his side ever since (think Charles in Emma's place). Charles is a bit broken (he experienced first hands the violence and depravity of others) but deep inside he's still the Charles we all know.

Cue Erik finding Shaw while on his quest to kill him and when he sees the quiet man by Shaw's side, his interest is piqued and he knows he has to have him by his side "to fill the gap" that he didn't even know he had in his life!

Oh very very cool. Fascinating adaptation of the story in many ways.
The last line completely thrilled me.
