Basically Charles, Eric and the Gang find out about this mutant who would be really useful in the fight against Shaw, like he has the ability to pull apart energy or molecules (something that would totally own Shaw's energy thingy). Anyways, They end to going in disguise to this fancy upperclass ball (all of them dressed fancy). They find the mutant, who takes an interest in Charles and attempts to seduce him. Eric gets jealous and basically ends up using his powers on him and threatening him against touching Charles on pain of death! Get back to mansion and then some lovely smut ensues.
