... does it matter to the OP if Charles has been captured by Erik - or would it be all right if this is something Charles says during a rescue attempt by Erik after a different person nabs him, not quite understanding why Erik is there/generally confused? Because that feels like it wouldn't be quite the right feeling for this fill, sorry, but that line is beautiful and I've been working on something of the former flavor myself previously.
