As a tie-in to the original X-men movies in which Prof. X says Magneto helped him build Cerebro, and at the request of Charles, Erik returns to the mansion to assist Hank and Charles in building Cerebro. It's also the first time Erik has seen Charles since the beach. Either he's heard about the paralysis, or he's clueless about it until he lays eyes on Charles, but there is emotional heartache about seeing his old friend in a wheelchair. From either Erik's POV or Charles, whatever works.
