Shaw was, of course, really interested in getting his Erik back but I also enjoyed his interest in Charles. He sounded quite smitten with the 'powerful empath'. And I guess I'd have loved to see more of that.

What if Shaw managed to get his hands on Charles somehow? Cue Erik going all BAMF and protective on Charles.

I would kill (multiple times) for another fill here, but I ran across a fic that does this pretty admirably.
