Erik is a Triwizard Tournament Champion. During the Second Task, the person that he would miss the most is Charles. Cue epic underwater rescue and protectiveness.

I might do this because it's such a wonderful prompt and protective!Erik is just so much fun to write. But of course the prompt is open up to anyone who wants to contribute a fill of their own :)

OH MY GOD I WAS LITERALLY GOING TO PROMPT THIS EXACT THING LOLOLOL HE WOULD BE LIKE KRUM AND TRANSFIGURE HIMSELF INTO A SHARK

Except I actually had another thought along these lines which perhaps I should prompt further down. Would there be interest in Charles and Erik as the champions from competing schools? And like, getting to ~know each other and taking each other to the Yule Ball come onnnn. I thought it would be hilarious when it came to the Second Task, the organisers would be like "...right. So uh, for two of our Champions, the person they would miss most is... each other... ok, what now?"

Not the OP, but as someone who loves the original prompt too I think you should prompt this anyway, especially if you keep in the Yule Ball part.

And I'm not even a huge HP fan, wtf, why do I want this so much? ... I think its the dancing. Please, I need to see them dancing.

First poster to comment here. dasdklfdajkldsflkj! This is why I love this fandom so much! I was going to write the Yule Ball despite the OP not writing that in their prompt because who doesn't want to see Charles and Erik dancing during Yule ball!? :D

I feel that last sentence would make an excellent slogan for the kink meme if, you know, more than half of the fics weren't so terribly depressing. (But still awesome.)

And lmao at me asking you to prompt and right after someone says they're writing this one with the dancing AND THIS FANDOM IS SO QUICK. SO QUICK AND SO FABULOUS.

AHAHAHA OMG, just had the greatest thought ever. So if Emma was the third champion, after the organisers were all "...right. So uh, for two of our Champions, the person they would miss most is... each other... ok, what now?", they would then be like "oh, and we have another problem. The third champion? Yeah, the person she'd miss most is, uh, herself."

COME ON IT WOULD BE BRILLIANT

Writer anon here: Hey OP you don't mind if I implement insane_duckfish's ideas as well because they are similar prompts? The original idea of a protective Erik during the 2nd task will stay but instead it will play out differently because they will be starcross lovers/rivals.

Now you all are making me nervous D:

I will try posting the first part tonight and hopefully other parts during this week but I'll be out of town. Anyone else who wants to take a shot is more than welcome because Harry Potter AUs are just awesome. :D
