Erik is the handsome literature/history/whateveryouchose teacher who everyone is a little afraid of. Senior year Charles is the brilliant and charming little bastard everyone can't help but love. Except, of course, for one Mr. Lensherr. Charles decides he must have him.
Bonus points for:
- uniforms
- Charles being a fierce!bottom
- Erik speaking in other languages

THIS. I love that you made Emma and Erik 'friends'. They're alike, in a way. There's not enough fics which choose that path.

Erik is not sure where the remaining weeks of August have gone, but suddenly it's a week until his syllabus is due - presumably written in his own blood - and it is nowhere near finished. It contains a list of texts he's sure he's expected to cover, and a shorter one of texts he wants to cover, but there is also a definite lack of cohesion and the distinct feeling that no matter what he puts on the syllabus, a course in German literature is going to be severely lacking in mass appeal ( ... )

“Fuck.” He scrambles for the damn thing which tell him that firstly, it's twenty-five past one, and secondly, Emma is going to murder him. “Sorry,” he says. The ringing has stopped, but the moment is broken and Erik runs a hand through his hair. “I was supposed to be at a meeting half an hour ago, I should really -”

He picks his coat up off the floor, and looks at Charles, who is leaning back against the wall, watching him.

“Sure I can't tempt you to stay?” Charles asks, and just like that, the moment is back. “You're a strong, handsome stranger who helped me carry boxes into my new apartment. I'd say you're almost obliged,” he says, and lightly scratches at the exposed skin of his chest, fingers sliding underneath the material. Erik finds himself disinclined to disagree, but his phone starts ringing again in his pocket and damn it, he can not believe his work ethic has chosen this exact moment to start making itself known ( ... )

Hhhnngghh the tension between them is so delightfully thick. Erik is in for quite a surprise! I'd feel sorry for him if I didn't love mischievous Charles so much.
