This is totally haunting me. But I hope you don't mind that I tweak things up a bit. Erik and Charles aren't GOING to be Bella and Edward, but will be very similar. The story line won't be the same, but will be similar.
I'd like to use the Cullens as a cameo in some parts like, iunno, Alex saying, "I've heard of the Cullens before. They had a similar situation down in Washington. Cross-romance is some sort of in-thing now. Lucky you, Erik." But the Cullens won't actually appear. You know what I mean? They'll be offhandedly mention, but won't actually make a cameo unless it's REALLY necessary.

It wasn’t the place Charles prided himself in growing up as a child. He looked forlornly out the flat, four-faced window. He was going to miss England, the wet cling of the air in his socks, the need for umbrellas everyday. The English have long been preoccupied with the nation’s weather, and things look set to become even more unpredictable thanks to climate change. But despite the unpredictability, there are a few rules that underpin the seasons. Winters tend to be cold and wet, with the hottest and driest weather generally reserved for July and August. The shoulder seasons often produce the best weather: sunny spells jostle for space with sudden showers between March and May, while balmy ‘Indian summers’ often pitch up between September and October. Snow in England generally arrives either end of winter, especially in November and February. But he wasn’t a weather man. How would he know? He was now stooped down to use weather for stalling what little peace he had left

He was in devastation when he set foot on the plane, this bloody plane, this bloody argy-bargy piece of contraption that would bring him towards unending misery for the rest of his life. He ran his hand through his hair sullenly, sitting down with a soft, but sad, exhale from parted lips. It was the absolute worst place to sit. The back of the craft was anything but a gentle ride and your seat couldn’t go down without hitting a plaster wall in only one inch. He was stuck for seven to eight-some hours with sitting erectly in his seat

AN: Let’s say, for plots sake that it rains/and or is cloudy alot in Westchester lol. This drives me crazy. When I asked a New Yorker, they said they do get alot of rainy days depending on the season, but most of the time its kinda soggy in the morning all the time, since where he lives is near the bay. I assume it’s sort of like San Francisco, since they have a bay too and it’s hard to catch a boat on a completely sunny day.He should’ve known no one was going to meet him at the airport. With a set of gritted teeth and his head held high, he moved to the baggage claim, ready to take on New York and all its faults. He approached the cluster of people that stood idle as they scanned the conveyer belt for their own luggage, antsy on his feet after sitting down for so long without break. He smiles, catching sight of his familiar tweed baggage sluggishly approaching, and promptly plucks it into his arms. Straightening his coat, he stepped out into the front dragging his luggage over the hard cement. Of course, it’s raining when he arrives
