The cat's gone. Henry never showed up. This is all very distressing.

I had to return the cat to her owner. Don't worry.
Henry missed a meeting with you? That is worrying. He's usually better with that sort of thing.

I realize that. But I liked that cat, Murdoc. I'm not worried about it, I'm just not happy that it's gone.

We were supposed to meet today, but he never showed up. I was looking forward to it.

Keeping that cat would have raised problems. It was a tie that needed severing, anyway. If you really want a cat, you could find another? I've never cared for them.

I'm sorry for your disappointment. Have you tried calling? He was having trouble with is ex. She seemed better, but I haven't seen anything from her today.

Perhaps I will. I really enjoyed having it around. Though I would rather have that one back. You've severed ties with him? That's probably for the best.

I've tried calling but there hasn't been an answer. It's not that I don't think Henry can take care of himself, but I certainly don't trust people. I really hope nothing has happened to him.

Do you want to come down to the shop? I've been cleaning.
