Yes, but that was due to a rather demanding slave master. I do not see the correlation, as the citizens are those who suffer, yet are also the imprisoned.

Aside from my engagements to the production, and my responsibilities to those under my protection, I find myself with free time more often than not.
I spoke to the crewman, Smee, but I believe the captain is rather put out with me. No matter. If either continue to harass you, I do ask that you inform me? There is no excuse for such rude behavior, and most especially toward a fine and noble woman.
Perhaps I can entice you to my own dwelling for a shared drink and conversation?

Oh, yes, How is the production comming?
You...you did? I...I would have said something myself but...I rather like avoiding unneeded conflict. He does as he pleases, and I cope as I must. I don't doubt Jas was quite upset with you, he's protective of the man...Jas doesn't harass me. We barely talk as it is. You didn't threaten them, did you? Morpheus, don't trouble yourself on my account, please...

Ah yes, I had heard of a gentlement interested in putting on a performance. I'd be glad to help. You shall need a script no doubt or liberetto. I assume that you shall be the director of the production, I recommend that you become exceedingly familiar with the text in order to have mastery of each character and what you wish them to portray. By then, stage direction will come into existance, I have seen it made up along the way in rehearsals and it is messy. That much is a start, Monsieur--?
Pardon me, I don't believe we have been formally introduced. I am Erik. Please excuse me, in my eagerness I've gotten ahead of myself.

You may call me Morpheus. No other honorific is needed.
I am very well versed with the work, and have the original draft for stage performance in my possession. However, young Fakir expressed misgivings in a play alone, and suggested a conversion to ballet. Either would be agreeable, as I enjoy the arts in many forms.
I have no great desire to direct, you see, but rather as a patron of the work I would be more inclined to supply the texts, and author's notes on each character, and setting that I possess.

I seem to be reminded of a small group in the Sinai peninsula who experienced similar problems?

Well, I don't know. I'm free most evenings, unless something..unavoidable happens.

You should not be made to cope at all, but I made no threats; only a promise of proper etiquette lessons should the man persist.
Matthew would like to properly meet you considering he was asleep upon your first visit.
