My AF point was on the left instead of the center. I wasn’t paying attention so all the images are clear on the left and kind of blurry on the right. Oops.

Also, I don’t remember if I mentioned I would be out of town a lot this month, hence the patchy posting. Sorry if I forgot.

These were both shot at the narrowest the lens goes, 22mm. Although I’m showing the first one, I took several shots today of the second corner. You only get a slight glimpse of it in this shot but the sun from behind the tower on the left and the dark clouds below just looked really fabulous.

Two different ways of looking at the morning sunrise. In the first the sun is reflecting off the the buildings an entire avenue away, whereas in the second it’s rising from behind keeping everything else in shadow ( Read more... )

My lens arrived today and I’m very excited about it. Wow is this thing wide. I practically feel like the image is wrapping around my head. I’ve heard of a few people getting their feet in the shots and I totally understand how that’s possible when looking at these pictures ( Read more... )

It’s weird how the sun is out for longer these days yet it’s so frickin cold out. Weather can be interesting. Anyway, I’m glad that the sun is out when I get home from work.

I honestly think this might have been the coldest day of the year. The day actually started out pretty warm but that night, whoa was it cold and windy. I really felt like I was being blown around when taking these shots. It’s amazing they didn’t come out as big blurs. Things have been super busy this week. I’ve been able to get out and take the shots but haven’t had the time to sit down, edit and post.

I like this fit one, I think it’s interesting how there is a tow truck towing a car on the right side and a person pulling their car behind a Uhaul van on the left.
