*First Aid leads the pair back to the med-bay, nodding to a nearby berth for him to take a seat on while he finds the rest of his supplies.* I'm afraid I'll have to insist on you keeping me company for a little while until I'm confident you won't reverse the damage a second time

Aw, Doc, I really promise to be good this time. I'll even stay in my berth...by myself.

*He does his best to not react to the spy's voice, the timbre of it warming his spark in a most unusual way.* I don't know their progress on the recalibration...but really...it's not so bad, is it? ^^

*as he speaks, TB shoots a quick, and pointed look at both Mirage and First Aid*

*He glanced over at First Aid and grimaced a bit.* Yes it is, I don't sound normal and it's just garnering a tad bit too much attention for my tastes. *mutters that last part.*

*He wiggles his fingers again, sort of dangling them in front of Mirage's face as if offering them for his inspection but Mirage has moved away and step lessening the intimacy Hound was trying to establish with him. Ah, well, nobody ever said it would be easy.
Then he throws on the most guileless face he can muster.* What's wrong with your voice? Sounds fine to me.

*He had to leave. If he didn't he was going to say something that would drive Hound away from him and that would be disastrous.*
I ... uhm ... I should go. *his voice breaks slightly as he speaks.* Give me a call if you need anything Hound. I'll ... I'll come running.
*with that he turned to walk out of the med bay.*

I don't like it. *He muttered almost petulantly and backed away further.* Umn, First Aid, would you please? I'll be in my quarters or something. *He had to get out of med-bay now and he turned to flee, almost running into Trailbreaker as he walked out too.*
Sorry, Trailbreaker.

Aw, don't worry about it. He's just bein' Hound. It's just what he's like. ... He flirts. It *his vocalizer catched almost slightly* It doesn't bother me any.

Still, if it was my lover, I'd be upset. *Mirage started carefully and dredged up a smile.* So I'm apologizing for everything. Especially the whole freaking out on him like that in med-bay before. I...wasn't in my right mind at the time.

I'm not you, and I doubt it's a problem you'd have anyway. *shrug* Besides, there's no point getting upset over something that I can't change.
And, uhm, thank you for the apology, but there's no need. As you said, you weren't yourself, and it's not like you hurt Hound too badly or permanently. He's better now, and it's all in the past.
*TB smiles at Mirage kindly*

Well, umn...if you ever need to talk or something, you know where I am. *Gah! Could he sound anymore cheesy if he tried? Of course, Mirage didn't really have all that much experience in offering his hand in friendship either so his discomfort and awkwardness were sort of understandable.*

I ... uhm ... Thank you Mirage. I ... Thank you, I'll take you up on the offer. *TB smiled. It's a genuine smile this time*
But only after you get your voice fixed. It doesn't suit you. You're far too much of a gentlmech to go around sounding like that.

Oh, that would be....nice. Thanks.
*A part of him suspiciously wondered if it was just some kind of back-handed insult. If anyone but Trailbreaker had said it, he'd probably have taken it as a back-wards insult but this was Trailbreaker.*
