Author's Note: This is set in a really random AU, in which Chizuru, Keigo, and Mizuiro are shinigami. There's really no reason for this, other than, "It lets me pair Chizuru with a bunch more chicks" and "I thought it was funny at the time".
"Nanao-chan, I have some very tragic news."
Ise Nanao looked up from her paperwork, adjusting her glasses. Then she recognized the speaker and sighed in annoyance. "Hello, Honshou-san."
"That's not what you were calling me last night," Chizuru smirked. Nanao resisted the urge to strangle the smug redhead sitting on her desk.
Chizuru continued. "Anyway. I have to work late tonight, so I won't be home until after eleven. And I wouldn't want to wake you or anything...you being an important fukutaichou and all that." She leaned over the desk, lips lightly brushing Nanao's ear. "Soooo...I was thinking I could make it up to you. Meet me in the supply closet down the hall in...oh, say...five minutes?"
The pencil in Nanao's hand snapped cleanly in half.
"I'll take that as a yes! Bye, Nanao-chan!" Chizuru blew her a kiss and bounded off down the hallway.
"Ah, young love. Ne, Jyuu-chan?" Shunsui sighed happily, leaning his head on the white-haired man's shoulder.
"Indeed, Shun-chan." Jyuushirou smiled, serene as ever.
The furious energy radiating from Nanao in waves intensified. She glared at the two captains, a tomato-red blush taking over her face. Then she slammed down the armful of paperwork, got up, and stalked out after Chizuru, purposefully slamming the door behind her.
