Pietro’s skin smells like apples and vanilla, and Lance has come to associate him with both; while shopping with Kitty, he can’t help but wonder why.

The beginning wasn’t a kiss or a love letter or anything that you would expect; the beginning was the realization that they’d always be together no matter what.

“I-can’t-believe-he-ate-a-bug-in-front-of-us-Lance-and-I’m-so-sorry-I-puked-in-your-mouth-a-little-but-it-was-gross!”

Lance knows better than to give Pietro coffee; it’s like giving a hummingbird speed.

The room is too dark to see, but Lance’s bed is right where Pietro remembers it and easy to slip into.

Pietro’s duty is to his father, even if he’d much rather be at Lances side.

He has a jar filled with sand from their last date to the beach; a way to keep Lance and the earth with him always, even when he’s moving too fast to touch either.

In the end, Lance wonders how such a beautiful soul could burn out so fast, gone with a kiss and one breathy goodbye as he slipped into eternal sleep.

Pietro found that falling was the easy part; it was the ‘trusting in Lance to catch him’ part he was having trouble with.

Pietro hates it when John’s over; he never knows if Lance will fall for his fiery charms and flaming good looks.

The Roma are flexible in many ways; Lance had just never really thought on Pietro’s flexibility outside of the bedroom until he wound up curled up between the roof and the floor of the car after a car accident.

There’s never any food in the house; so when Lance offers a dinner date, Pietro jumps at the offer.

Pietro’s heart felt hollow as he watched his father abandon him once more, and Lance wrapped an arm around him and glared at the man who dared call the smaller teen son.

“There is no honor in this relationship you are harvesting with Avalanche, Pietro,” Magneto’s voice is loud, and Pietro winces, “don’t you see?”

There’s always hope for another day for them, because they have each other.

The only light in the room is from the moon, and both Pietro and Lance like it that way.

Lance sometimes asks if Pietro has lost his mind; Pietro sometimes wonders the same.

Sometimes, Pietro wonders if he can outrun the rain to get home dry; then he remembers Lance’s hands stripping the wet clothes from him, and forgoes the thought.

The only thing Magneto ever regrets is not being able to go to his son’s wedding to give his blessing to the two young men.

Roses, Pietro feels, are over rated; but he lets Lance buy them anyways because it’s the thought that counts.

“Can you keep a secret,” Pietro asks, whispering in Lances ear, “Can you not tell a soul?”

“Snakes on a plane,” Pietro announced, sliding into Lance’s lap, “will ruin you, so you’re not allowed to see it.”

Lance can’t help but be reminded of Pietro when it snows; cold yet fluffy and with a hint of pale, shimmering loveliness.

Lance’s chest reminds Pietro of the rock slide he’s named for; solid one minute, rolling with laughter another.

Spring isn’t an easy time for him; it’s warm and happy and makes him wonder if Pietro has survived the winter, continents away.

Accidents may be accidents, but Lance is going to kill Evans when Pietro is stable again.
