Claire did not sleep particularly well, thinking a little too hard about what she had to do this morning and all the ways it might go wrong.

So it's early - for a teenager, which means about 11 - when she finds Prof - finds Nath- finds Peter's brother's apartment and knocks sharply.

Nathan went to get the door. Once he opened it, he stared. Finally he said, "You look so much like your mother."

Claire was staring back, not moving.

She was about to say 'you're so young', but when he says that, she starts involuntarily.

"Do I?"

"Yeah." Nathan's voice was a little rough. He cleared his throat. "You do. Uh - come in. You've got to be Claire, right?"
