I live in the 3rd largest republican state, behind oklahoma and wyoming...and yet i have managed to surround myself with some of the most liberal and progressive and amazing people i know. glad you're one of them!

With all the celebratory shouting and honking and sense of... civility... I kept thinking I was in The Netherlands or Venezeula or someplace like that, only to find my heart swelling when realizing I was finally in America for the first time in my adult life.

I've had to disengage with the anarchist communities I was reading, because they're still whining about how it's all the same, and they need to be ready "when the revolution comes."

The humility with which he accepted such an important position further illustrates his understanding of the enormity of the task ahead of him - and the gratitude he expressed to the countless people who gave money, time, and commitment to his campaign seemed genuine. I think folks have a hard time considering that this man might be the real McCoy. I'm going to believe it until he proves otherwise.

Let the eight year nightmare come to a swift close, and an eight year dream begin...
