I got Kevin Fowler's Live At Billy Bob's CD a few days ago, and it's awesome. Live CD's are usually great CD's to start off with when you're looking into someone that you haven't heard much of, because they have songs from multiple CD's. Before this CD, I had heard only a few of his songs. I guess hearing Mark Chesnutt's version of "The Lord Loves ( Read more... )

I'm pretty damn sure that unless something comes up, I'll be taking my vacation in Texas. I would definately try my hardest to work a Fowler show in there. Fowler seems pretty kick ass from the CD I got and from what I've read. I ordered a shirt off his website yesterday too. I'd also love to see Ragweed down there, a Texas crowd would just blow the Nashville crowd away. I wanna go sightseeing down there too.

Yeah, tisk on me for living in ken-tuck, we don't have any kick ass country folks around here. :(

I don't think I've ever heard of the River West Band. I googled their name, but it didn't come up with much. It was basically sites that had a link to their site, which says it can't be found, and a couple of reviews. I'll keep looking around to see if I can find a site that sells their CD for you though.

If you come to Texas for your vacation you will have TONS of fun!

Kevin Fowler concerts are always exciting! Which shirt did you order? Texas crowds will alwyas blow Nashville crowds away.. in fact we put them to shame :)

I had never heard of the River West Band until like 3 days ago. I was making a CD for Chase and was lacking my favorite tune 'Texas Angel', so my friend gave me a CD that had that song as well as 'Fish Spurs' (a damn aggie song! but still good) and 'Texas Remedy' by River West. I loved 'Texas Remedy' so much that I put it on the CD I was making. I've got all of my friends hooked on that song and now we are trying our hardest to find out more about the band but so far no luck.

Hope you are having a great New Year so far!!

I've heard many great things about Texas, I think that a very nice vacation can be planned there. I just don't know if a week is enough time.

This is the shirt I'm ordered. http://www.kfmerch.com/images/tshirts/yeehaw-tshirt-sh.jpg I want a couple of others too.

Isn't it something that with all that there is on the internet, you'd actually have trouble finding out stuff about a band? I hope you can find a copy of their CD though.

I've only worked and slept in the New Year. Could be worse I guess. Hope you're having a great one too.
