✿ I'm hoping to finish around Christmas at the latest and I think my fic will probably just reach about 20k words to be quite honest
✿ my fic will be harry/louis but with mention of harry/zayn
✿ my fic is a somewhat Lolita au, so there will of course be underage and possible dub-con, which I know a fair amount of people are squicked by

Offering to beta! Mostly SPaG/realism/plot/characterization, but I can do amateur Britpicking if it's a concern. Willing to beta for anyone who's looking for it, but I'd prefer not reading Harry/Louis and Zayn/Liam in a combined effort (H/L or Z/Li without the other as a secondary 'ship is fine). Otherwise I'm open for anything!

My fic (AU) is gonna be over 100k, and hopefully I'll finish it within December.
It's 98% H/L with vague Ziam and Zerrie. Contains some light D/S and racing lingo. help please omg

Can you tell a little about what you're looking for in a beta? (like spelling and grammar, plot, etc.)

Sure babe! Keep an eye on grammar (ESL here, therefore britpick request), continuity (I've been writing it for the past million years, so I need someone to read it from start to finish in one go and tell me if the emotional progress is paced right and IC), and I guess simplification (since it's a sports fic I don't wanna assault the reader with too much technical info, but since I've done so much research I don't know what's too much).

Also if the beta happened to be an in the closet British Formula 1 one-time world champion, that would be GREAT.

I'd be up for helping with continuity and simplification (I know next to nothing about Formula 1, not sure if thats a positive or negative). I can help with grammar too, but only to the extent of American English.

Offering to Brit-pick
Particular strengths include football (have had a season ticket at my club for 15 years so I know the rules and how things work behind the scenes!) and geography stuff - I work in Bradford and I've got basic knowledge of both Doncaster and Holmes Chapel having visited friends in both places. And obviously general Brit language/slang.
I'm from the North-East originally so if your fic includes Little Mix I've got great knowledge of Perrie & Jade's hometown of South Shields.
I'm probably least interested in Harry/Louis but I'm not 100% against helping out if you need it!
I'll say I'm happy to help two people but it might easily be that I have time to help more - just get in touch!

I'm wondering if you'd be willing to Brit-pick one or both of my fics? They're rather long (~30k & 50k), but I have a beta covering pretty much everything but the Brit-picking, so I don't think it should be too much work. I can start sending in pieces now if that would make it easier :)
The longer of the two fics is a Niall/Gemma, which I know seems to squick a lot of fandom so I'm warning now, and the other has past Zayn/Perrie, eventual Zayn/Niall, one-sided Harry/Zayn (Harry is a teen crushing on Zayn, someone ten years his senior), some Louis/Eleanor that breaks up to become Louis/Harry - which I know you're not interested in - but it's a side ship and not very focused on, and Danielle/Liam.

not a huge fan of pwp but I'm not bothered if your fic has smut in it
my most favoured pairings are liam/zayn, niall/zayn and liam/louis but I'm open to most (although I prefer not to do harry pairings)
