I don't know how it stacks up with AncestryDNA. The Relative Finder aspect interested me, but my cousin is the family genealogist and doesn't need DNA to tell her how I was related to the closest match in the database (second cousin on my mother's side). But I am very happy with the Disease Risk and Carrier information. Best of all, I was able to confirm my absolute conviction that I am part Neanderthal -- 2.8 percent! It explains so much, especially in the mornings.

I paid the full price for both my brothers -- my full brother so I would have some clue what my paternal DNA is. My half brother knows nothing about his father's side of the family. Getting him the kit was the best gift I've ever bought anyone. He's completely thrilled with all of it -- particularly the Disease Risk and Carrier information. And he's 3.1 percent Neanderthal.
