I can't follow a recipe...

Okay, I guess it was lucky that today I had a trial run of the recipe I'm going to make on Saturday.

In my defense, I didn't know Brussels sprouts could do that.

But without me. People keep offering me Brussels Sprouts recipes they *swear* I will like. But I'm a super-taster, and those little cabbages just overwhelm me. Broccoli and cauliflower must be at the PEAK of freshness, or yuck, and I trained my self to eat kale. Which I now love in rustic kale dip, but it took *training* to learn to eat it!

I joke that I am not positive I even trust people who eat Brussels sprouts, but I have too many I love who think they are wonderful. So--enjoy!

You can have my share, too. But I would have enjoyed the pics--cheese melting out of things, chard turning into water, and then there were the eggs in my friend's fridge. Or not--they evaporated inside the shells, and felt blown when lifted up.
