Looked at the list of reviewed books, didn't see crack whore Betsy on the list, so I thought I'd tweak mine and share. To your left you'll find the barrel of rotting fruit, to your right, the bar. I think that got fazed out after the first 10 books, along with the SVH character profiles wherein Lila Fowler was illegitimate. :p

This was during the brief stretch where we were left with a hundred and thirty-seven different ways it could have been used, but not. It makes it's triumphant return a few books later, and then dies out along with profanity.

Hey, this was great! I liked the quotes and trivia at the end. And all the different covers - lol - I like the first Spanish (?) one the best - the one with the Sandra Dee-looking Betsy with her collar turned up.

I love that cover too! Actually, it's in French, and the title translates to "Don't Trick Me"!

How old were Betsy and Tricia? I'm not even kidding, this has been bugging me since I was nine. Tricia can't have been much older than the twins but did we ever see her attend classes at SVH?

(I know Betsy's like an eighth grader or something in SVT, but I'm not putting much faith in inter-series continuity.)

Tricia was a senior, I'm pretty sure. No idea how old Betsy is; I think I assumed she was a junior, but if she's applying to art school, do you think she could've been older than Tricia, but a senior because she'd been held back?

Tricia was definitely a senior as she occasionally shows up at lunch where Liz can give her the sad puppy dog eyes and Cara & Jess can be catty. Betsy's a year or two older, but I'll be damned if I can find an exact age.
