'Does it get chilly in heaven,' she wonders. Heh, who said you were going there.
Oh, snap!

Very cool recap. I had forgotten how completely ridiculous this whole arc was!

Thank you :)

It is ridiculous but at the same time quite compelling to read....the way the ghostwriter makes you care about Eva is quite good. Or maybe that's just me. Hmm!

Ooh, new episodes of Top Gear or repeats? (The season with Hamster's accident hasn't come to Australian screen yet.)

Have a lovely day! :-)

AWESOME. I've been loving your recaps of this miniseries. My sister and I have read these books and laughed ourselves silly for years. Definitely some of my favourite in the Sweet Valley universe.

You have so many great snarky comments in this recap, I can't single them all out. But really, Todd is SO DUMB. Isn't he? Holy bananas. And Winston was totally my favourite part of the whole arc. Plus Steven being awesome. Hee! Great job.

Thank you :-) I too loved this miniseries, and still do. When I was finishing writing it up last night, my boyfriends all like, "this is a kids book Bec," and I'm totally like, "so?" Lol!

So... wait, does this mean the freaky little girl Eva has more muscles than Winston?

The freaky girl Eva has more muscles than all of them put together, which I presume is why all five of them didn't fight her. Except for when Todd hits her with his bat, and when Steven hits her, because then she so totally lost her strength for a bit (so the plot enabled them to escape).

Maybe in her years living in secret, Eva did push ups and chin ups everyday. If only she'd hooked up with Denise Austin and made fitness videos instead of succumbing to this revenge-hungry, and ultimately tragic, fate!

Yeah, I can just imagine that *snorts with laughter* lol what always puzzled me was how she managed to get all her plaster casts off herself after running away from the hospital, lol!

Yay! Sorry for not reading this earlier but real life has annoyingly been intervening for me too lately. Loved your recap zippy! This miniseries is so detailed. You did a good job. It's not the most satisfying ending, is it...there really is no explanation of how Eva started invading people's dreams. I s'pose she always found it hard to sleep when she was alive, but...oh wait. She WAS still alive.
And I always felt sad for her too, poor kid! Although the transition from timid child to murderous, revenge-crazy monster doesn't really seem plausible...
but we're talking Sweet Valley here, so what did I expect?!
:D

No, I thought that too, as when she was in hospital surely the Eva we knew from Alice's memories would have wanted her parents more than ever, unless she was pissed off from them leaving her on the night she feared most with St Alice of the dented halo and therefore went nuts from that!

Thank you, yeah, tried to make it detailed because it's such a twisty turny plotline. :-)!!
