I wasn't going to do this so soon, guys - I was all Sweet Vallied out after my last recap - but then yesterday I made the mistake of reading my university's creative writing magazine. My friends, it is the most...I mean, it is so incredibly...Guys, it makes the Sweet Valley books look good. It is twenty-two pages of the most tedious dreck I have

I think the previous Jeep got smushed in a recent book.
As Brorissa says, Jess is haunted by this in Aftershock. Lila totally doesn't understand - foreshadowing for their crap relationship in SVHSY.
Mr. Collins is lying unconscious by the pool because he was the party chaperone. Kidding! Haha!
Whoa, it just struck me that Mr. Collins totally doesn't appear in SVHSY, does he? WTF!
Devon has Lila's daddy issues, Enid's seedy past, Bruce's wealth, Conner's whininess, and nobody's awesomeness.
Well, i think Devon kind of rocked until this book, when he turns out to be a total coward jerk, which doesn't really make sense if you look at the way he's acted in the past. Stupid jerk ghostwriters, manipulating characters to their liking! How dare they!
I wonder what happened to Prince Albert in Senior Year.
GRRRR. SO many inconsistencies!
Although assuming Sweet Valley Heights goes ahead, I am quite excited about the prospect of Jessica being a Julie Cooper-esque ( ... )

Why didn't Jessica suffer any trauma about this in SVHSY, though?

It's mentioned in one of the random SVHSY books from Maria's point of view that, "something (whatever random thing she has to tell Elizabeth and Jessica) is worse then when she had to tell them that their dog Prince Albert ran away after the earthquake" He escaped! Can't blame him, really. :)

And I LOVED the Inferno miniseries. Seriously. I thought Steven/Lila were like so very "Sea of Love" when I was 11. Damn. I hope that in the Heights book shes married to Bruce but having sexual tension with Steven the local lawyer/cop/whatever the hell he becomes.

I flipped through Aftershock an hour or so ago, and I know! Thankfully, he gets the mother of all smackdowns and leaves town with a flea in his ear.
And is douchiest of all when he comes back in the University books.
Okay, please be kidding me. He comes back? Why? Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhy? D:
