Elizabeth starts to run into some problems with her lovegrams. Some people are really unsure about sending such mushy/intense poems, but Liz keeps convincing them that it’s Valentine’s day and they should let loose their innermost emotions.
Oh dear lord. They're 12! What intense love can they possibly have?! I think Lila's handbag approach is far more acceptable.

Oh my God, I loved this book so much when I was younger but I forgot it existed until I read your recap! I remember thinking Elizabeth's poem was lame because "brown" and "grown" don't rhyme. And. You know. Other reasons.

Todd really is so stupid. He breaks up with her the moment some alleged other girl shows interest in him? That is not cool behaviour!

Jessica selects a flowing, romantic cream coloured mini-dress with a pink flower print. It sounds nice, but on the cover it looks a lot like pyjamas.
I didn't think Jess's outfit on the cover was that bad. You know, compared to usual.
