Sweet Valley High Super Thriller, Deadly Summer

I think this Super Thriller is my favorite of all, at least out of the books where the twins were newspaper interns. There's a little bit of everything here -- mad bombers, Bruce & Liz... there's even a Wakefield doppelgänger! (Sort of.)

Let me get this straight....this is THE Liz Wakefield that, as a 12 year old, in a Super Chiller, saw through all of Jessica's schemes and plots. But she now believes in an Oijua board!! What The Fuck!!!

Oh my God, Bruce is so awesome in this book. All sniffly and fake-dying, just to mess with Liz. And she totally starts crushing on him!

Hee, hilarious recap. I want to read this one now - I thought I'd read most of the super thrillers but somehow this dramatic tale escaped me!

Thanks for this recap! This was one of the few SVH books I owned and I actually really loved it. I read it every summer for 4-5 years in a row, and just recently thought it would be cool if someone recapped it. Ahhh, cozy days of childhood...

hahaha this book is awesome. Bruce playing up his imminent death for hugs is just hilarious:) I <3 Bruce. I never noticed how cool Jeffrey was when I was reading these (I thought Liz/Todd was OTP, even if they were boring, how little I understood). I think Lila likes him because unlike me, she noticed how much cooler he is from the moment she met him.
