First time recapper here, so I apologize in advance for anything I might have done wrong. : ) And sorry about the length.

This is one of the two Sweet Valley books that I own (at least, that I own and actually know the whereabouts of). I was never really much of a SV fan as a kid, but I did read a few of the SVT books- including this one, which I ( Read more... )

I totally remember this one! I thought it was creepy, which shows how much I know about life.

Lila gets rejected because her face is too “modern”. Whatever. I’m just disappointed because I was hoping to read more about Lila.

I think I'm going to start "spring break" and "winter break" tags so we can keep track of how often they have one.

Was I the only one who was thinking "My precioussssss" during the bits with Liz, Jess and Robin being all possessive over the necklace?

No but... svhhorseluvr October 22 2007, 02:08:21 UTC
I was thinking about the necklace Horcrux in 'Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows'. Liz would be Hermione, and Jess would probably be Ron.

Jessica says, “It’s not like we’re exactly Ghost Central here in Sweet Valley.” I have to stop reading for a few seconds because I’m laughing so hard.
Me too!

And I want to know how four-fingered Harry went from being a chauffeur to a lighting technician. That seems like quite the career jump.

I think that the other SVt books with the twims being movie extras were written after this book....weren't the Super Chillers written quite early on in the SVT series? I wish they had written more, as they are the best of the books!

Ah, that might very well be so... sorry; I haven't read very many of these books, and most of my knowledge of the series comes from obsessively reading the recaps here. : )

oh man, this is one of those I actually remember reading when I was a kid... down to Lila's face being too "modern" for an old movie. Ha! I'm still trying to figure that one out.
