Classic, I can't believe someone with a high uppity education degree analyzed these books. Duh of course they are mindless retarded fluff reading, that's why I love them so much!

I think I've read enough books in the series, and enough recaps here, to laugh my butt off at that characterization of Elizabeth. How many times did she cheat on Toddles over the entire course of the SVH series?

Given the melodrama in Sweet Valley University, one should not be surprised to learn that the series pays little serious attention to what real college life is like. In SVU the experience is flat and one-dimensional. One sees little self-development and intellectual change in the characters.
