I first read it after the Sweet Valley Summit a few weeks ago, and here's what I wrote to Em after:

So Todd cheated on Liz with Jess...AGAIN...and when she found out Jess had made out with her boyfriend Liz flipped and moved far away on a whim...AGAIN...except this time she's best friends with Bruce Patman? Huh.

I'm betting Miss Lila isn't fond of Liz calling Bruce in the middle of the night for a shoulder to cry on. And I'm betting Liz has had a lobotomy, to be best friends with somebody who once tried to rape her.

Praise Jeebus. There's still time for them to hire a half-dozen of us to re-ghostwrite the damned thing. Because... seriously, that was just lame.

I'm annoyed they're going the Sex and the City route with this. TMI sex? Check. Implausable NYC apartment? Check. Job that can't POSSIBLY pay those bills? Check. Too much pop-culture namedropping? Quadruple check.

Of COURSE Liz is almost 30 and still listening to Justin Timberlake. *eyeroll*
