You know, I used to think the girl who posed as Melissa was really pretty. But then I bent this book the wrong way and cracked her face on the spine in half and...now she just looks vaguely demonic. You know?

All those fonts were in the turn-of-the-millennium Microsoft Word. The ghosties must have decided that was a better option than writing illegible handwriting a la the BSC. Or they just enjoyed playing with all the fonts like I did when I got my first computer. :P

Also, I remember this whiny, emo "my real diary" book that came out here about 5 years ago that was all handwriting font. >_< Mis ojos, indeed.

Ugh, I know! I skipped further into the series and was so annoyed that they were ~friends~ in the the later books and she was thinking about going out with him. GAH! HE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO REDEEMING QUALITIES! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? Just...no! D:

Hi-larious.

I was way (waaay) too old to read the last third of SVH and the entire SVSY series so I've spent every waking, non-working, non-dogwalking minute of my past week reading the recaps. So much better than the books.

As far as psycho characters go, by far, she is the one who sucks the most. Can't even get suicide right. If she were any SV character worth her bits, she'd try to kill one of the twins, and not herself. LAME, LAME, LAME all around. SHAME ON YOU, MELISSA!! This series isn't about you, dammit!
If her parents really were the typical negligent kind we've seen throughout this whole series, they would've stayed away so the pills could've kicked in.
Worst.
