WTF kind of slow interior designer is Alice that she can't paint a room in less than a week? Shouldn't it take, like, a day? Maybe two if you're taking the old paint/wallpaper off?

OMG. I love the illustrations. Amazing. Truly a work of art, this recap. And the photo of the book page with "OMG"! I too see whut u did thar, ghostwriter! Hah!

Jess calls attention to this very fact! Ned tells her it's because they need several coats, and the coats have to dry in between, and then the rooms have to air out for a few days. How does he know so much about this? I bet 'lawyer' is just a fancy term for 'housepainter'.

ETA: I mean, unless the twins' rooms are the size of a football field or something, which is highly possible.

Probably no-one told him that you're not supposed to use those crappy little paintbrushes that come with kids watercolour sets. Now that would take a week! A month, even!
