Today's episode is a very loose interpretation of the classic literary achievements that are the first two books of the Pom-Pom Wars miniseries. Clearly that's an unacceptable title for a television series, though, so it needs to be altered immediately. It just dawned on me... there must be TWO Kens. The blonde one who never went away, and the dark one who did. I mean, with the number of lookalikes in Sweet Valleyland, surely two guys with the same name isn't so farfetched? (And given that every guy in town has dated both Wakefields, that's not an issue either.)

If you can work out what's going on in this picture, you win everything ever.

Todd is obviously just behind them, and Winston's trying to be sneaky and get some bonus perv time in.

I think you're right about the DoppelKenner. I like to think that in a 1950s-esque "perfect" town like Sweet Valley, it's almost a law to have to name your first child Ken. (Wakefields excluded, of course.)

Heh, exactly. He went to a place where not everyone had perfect blonde hair and got incredibly confused.

This. I don't normally get upset about the major changes they make, but this just had me shaking my head going D:

My theory on this is that usually the show takes one or two tiny things from the books, but this time they actively tried to recreate the exact plot some of the (best) books in the series and failed accordingly.

You would think that in a show this ridiculous, they would've included the cross-dressing. Me, I would've liked to have seen NuBruce in a pair of spanky pants, but that's because I'm strange and just a little bit perverted.
