I've been meaning to recap the book where Olympics Day gets suggested! It's actually Bethel's idea, and Kristin has a meltdown over people liking someone else's ideas more than hers. Although I totally side with Kristin in that book. Olympics Day just seemed an athletics carnival but without a house system and with small teams. ie it's harder to get away with spending the day reading magazines. But isn't reading magazines and hanging out with friends what swimming/athletics carnivals were for?
