"If Randy's short for Randall, does that mean Mandy is short for Mandall?"
I swear to god I spit my cheerios every time I read that. Maybe that's only funny to me, I don't know. I laughed just typing it.

First, that part about Elizabeth is funny because it's true.
Second, I recently read a book where a member of a rich clique secretly volunteers at a homeless shelter because she's looking for her secret illegitimate daughter whom she turned away when the daughter came looking for her, and later discovered that after she turned her away she became a homeless heroin addict. So I now have this mental picture of Randall being Mandy's secret illegitimate son. Also, the name Randall will forever make me think of the snitch in Recess. Or the bad guy in Monsters, Inc.

Bahaha. You're hilarious. I am familiar with this book, and you did a great, snappy recap of it. (I wish I could keep my recaps so succinct...I seem to painstakingly ramble on for ages. You captured it really well without going on for too long).
And I love your pic of Wendall. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.
PS: The POV changing in the Unicorns shat me off so much. From 1st person, to shared 1st person, to 3rd person? Really, ghostwriters? Were so little people reading the series that you thought you could do whatever you wanted without anyone noticing?
