This episode sounds hilarious. I so want to watch season 2 now!!

Lila: How far did you go with Jay O'Connor?
Enid: ...just to the mall!

Awesome.

That line is great. I totally want to use it, but as a married 33-year-old, I suspect an appropriate situation isn't likely to arise any time soon.

I lol'ed at that one. Given all the other snark about Mr. Collins in the recaps of the SVH books I'm surprised they openly acknowledged this in the TV series.

And poor Winston. Team leader gets bailed on by the rest of the guys to a lightning storm, even if he DID do something as inappropriate as attempt to crash a girls' party.

And I bet I know why he singled out dear Toddles. :P

Mr. Collins was in a few eps in Season 1, still creepy but looking decidedly un-Redfordesque.

Wow, I actually remember this episode. Thanks for the recap - very funny! And good point about the parents. The producers were probably trying to keep costs down or something but it's good to know I'm not the only one wondering where the adults were in this show.

For some reason, this recap reminds me that I saw Jensen Ackles in an episode. I think he was a photographer and Jessica kept trying to hit on him. But he wasn't interested because he either had a girlfriend or he was gay.

Elizabeth wants to keep it simple because they also need to buy decorations, invitations and party games.

If the party is a yearly tradition, surely they don't need to spend that much money on those things? Wouldn't they have games and decorations from previous years? I'm much rather spend the money on lots of delicious food.
