Admittedly, I haven't read the book on which this pearler of an episode is based, so I'm walking into this a little blind here. This particular ep, I'm sorry to say, is lame with a capital L. Ok, this might be thinking wayyyyyy too hard about SVH:TV, but what on earth could he be shaking his head about/upset with Liz about?

The random Asian kid says, "Maybe someday you'll write something about me in there." Um, okay, Random Asian Guy -- maybe when we work out WHO THE FUCK YOU ARE!
I think by this line we're meant to deduce that Liz didn't write anything about him in her diary. I guess he was offended because obviously this means she didn't give him a second thought.

I swear, that Random Asian Guy had me so confused when I first watched this episode. I thought I was going insane and just hadn't noticed him. He seems to be gradually replacing Patty, though, which is just delightful.

Great recap, though! These episodes are so ridiculous, they almost circle around back to awesome.

I haven't read this yet, but the sheets on the bed are the EXACT SAME sheets I had from age 6-12. I would have FREAKED had I known that at that age
