Can someone direct me to the info on putting livejournal 'Snapshots' links in a recap (ya know, the link that brings up a little picture beside it). I've looked in the general livejournal FAQ and can't find anything. Thanks.

Livejournal just does that on its own for links that go to anywhere that's not livejournal.com related.

We have FAQ, Request and Swap sections, I was wondering if we could please also have a Which Book Was That? section. I would love to know in which SVT book Amy Sutton moves away, but asking as a general post wouldn't be a good idea.

I very belatedly second this, if we don't already have it. I've been trying to work out for months what book it was that... well, I remember Jessica dogsits to earn some money, and Lila gets a really bad perm, and Jessica wishes on a star for Liz to stop telling the truth, so Liz plots to get Jessica a really bad perm, too... it was a really weird plot and I can't for the life of me remember what the title was.

I was just wondering, are other community promotions (related, to greater or lesser extent, to Sweet Valley) allowed in the main community? For a while, I've wanted a community like this one for the Baby-Sitters Club, and today bit the bullet and founded thejunkbucket. I was wondering if it was OK to post about it in the main comm/if there was an appropriate place (if any) to advertise it.
